So, before you make the final decision for your creation that of course should make the most possible impression and make you to get noticed, take some time to read this. I prepared for you some most important trends for the season 2018/2019.
A shine above everything
The coming New Year’s Eve and Carnival season is absolutely ruled by the shine. Glistening and glazy accessories of all sort, shiny fabrics of all colors, but especially gold, silver or black, sequins on blouses, dresses, even shoes, you shine and you will be noticed. Very trendy are also skirts made of sequins matched with high heels. You can find great collection of the accessories at Century 21, Dolce & Gabbana, and wonderful jewellery at Diamonds.
For more courageous I am proposing total metallic look, from top to the bottom, in gold or silver. Despite the former information that metallic will be passé, this trend is still on top and makes like usual a great entry. Check festive jumpsuits at Glamour for example. They are not only eye-catching with their original design but incredibly chic as well. They certainly inspire one incredible New Year’s Eve look. The metallic trend was also presented this year by Gucci. Who knows, it is maybe the last chance to get crazy about this style, because if Gucci is still in it, you may be as well.
Rock style
For those who prefer creations with a strong accent, like almost a gothic one, I propose the rock stylizations. It’s impossible to pass by them and be indifferent as they always attract attention with their strong character. Ideal would be a black Ramones combined with shiny light dress. Excellent in character will be also a glazy see-through tight top combined with leather skirt decorated with sequins, shiny leggings or wide-leg pants. Check for ideas H&M collection or Saks Fifth Avenue website. The latter is of course expensive, but the proposed outfits will blow your mind. And they propose something different for shoes, not only classy high heels, but high-heels boots. With rock style they will go excellent together.
For women you will find at great price many wonderful rock-style outfits at Century 21. Shine and shimmer style offered by them with 65% discount will make you crazy. You can find there treasures like V-neck sequin velvet top from Tommy Hilfiger for only $35, metallic striped ruffle skirt from Derek Lam 10 Crosby for only $80, or Black Denise beaded velvet gown from Shoshanna just for $70. Pricewise nothing beats the Century 21 collection.
Baroque inspirations
We all know what style has represented the XVII century baroque. Golden ornaments, colorful feathers, richly embroidered dresses. It seems like in this season all fashion designers got very interested in baroque, using not only the colorful ideas, but also accessories coming from that epoch. Jacquards, laces, shiny glass jewellery and a lots of it. The splendor is added by such extraordinary fabrics like velvet or silk in colors of burgundy, gold, silver and navy. For men I propose tuxedos from Mr Porter. Would it be red slim-fit velvet tuxedo, navy silk-blend jacquard, or burgundy slim-fit satin-trimmed velvet tuxedo, they all look absolutely gorgeous and very festive. You may go for something classier like Hackett black satin-trimmed wool and mohair-blend tuxedo. The trousers will be comfortable all the night thanks to adjustable side tabs.
Add to it great watch and pinky ring from Frost NYC and the outfit for your man will be more then complete.
For more baroque ideas check Dolce & Gabbana. You may be completely scared by their prices, but it is a worth wile to see their collections for festivities. I would call it modern baroque and it is completely mind blowing. Embroidery, jacquard, feathers, fancy high-heels, shiny and metallic and what combinations.

In my opinion, every diamond is worth its price, regardless of its shape. I'm even beginning to be interested in diamond foundries because of the environmental protection.
